Leo’s opening quest
Start here. The first lesson is finishing a catch, then returning to Leo.
THE EQUIPMENT BAG / CHOOSE YOUR NEXT NOTE
Start with the stage that fails. Tune Speed helps tuning. Frequency reach and catching control are separate checks. More Luck is not a replacement for finishing the capture.
Select up to two instruments to compare their reported cards. Prices are community reference values.

The larger Luck value is not a measured chance to catch a particular species.
QUEST REWARDElanor’s questline
Reported as a quest reward. Check Elanor’s current objective instead of looking for a shop price.
Choose two cards above to compare them side by side.
Look up the creature’s reported band in the Scroomdex and compare it with the current instrument card. Resonance is relevant to reach, but the Roman numeral alone is not a verified conversion to a fixed Hz range.
For an equipment purchase, check the live shop quote, your balance and the exact item. The source tables are a reference snapshot, not a real-time shop feed.
The 100-Chime guitar is the reported opening purchase. Quest rewards such as Floral Flute follow a different acquisition route. Receiving or buying either one does not automatically establish that it is active: open Equipment Bag → Instruments, select the item and equip it.

Luck percentages are printed equipment values, not measured odds for a named rare species. An unreported Tune Speed field is shown as missing, not zero. Prices and attributes can change with updates.
This opening collection does not rank every later instrument. For the Sanctum task reward, follow The Magus’ Requiem; for a rare target, check Eversung preparation.
